Bay Street Emeryville

This past weekend we meet with my goddaughter Kyleigh and her parents at Bay Street Emeryville.  We wanted to get together for lunch and possibly a little bit of shopping afterwards and the best place we thought about meeting was in Emeryville.  That's about halfway for both of us!

We met up at CPK (California Pizza Kitchen) for some lunch!  And it was delish!  I ordered the Chicken Pesto Pizza!  Of course I didn't finish it all!  I took the other half home for leftovers!

Aaron ordered the Greek Chicken Pizza.  I didn't get to try his because it had feta cheese on it but he said that it was pretty good.

Davin had a cheese pizza with lots of ranch on the side!  I don't know why I didn't take a picture of his pizza.  I think he dug into it before I could.

After lunch we did a little bit of shopping!  How could you not when you have all those shops around you?!  Plus the weather was absolutely beautiful and we wanted to enjoy the sunshine a little bit more!

Of course you can never go an outing without dessert so we stopped by Teacake Bake Shop to pick up something sweet!  I had the chocolate sour cream cupcake with chocolate buttercream.  It was one of the best cupcakes I've had in a while!  I made sure that we stopped by there on our way out to bring a few cupcakes home.  These were just a few of the choices.

And this is what I ended up picking!!  Yumm-o!!

We stayed out pretty late!  I think we left around 4pm which is way past Davin's nap time but I have to say that he behaved pretty well!  As soon as we got into the car and out of the parking garage he was passed out!  Poor guy!!  But he told us he had tons of fun that day and that's what matters!  =)
