SNOW....in Fairfield????

I know!!  I couldn't believe it either!

Sitting at work today I get a text from hubby!  It says, "Yikes...thunder is shaking the house!"  I thought to myself, "Thunder?!  What thunder?!"  So I walk to the front office (since I sit in the back office without any windows) to look out the windows and all I see is sunshine.  I text him back, "Sun's out here!  No thunder!"  A few minutes later I get another text from him.  This time it says, "It's hailing now...pea to marble size."  As soon as he sent that we heard the thunder and it shook our building!  It was so loud!  A few minutes later we heard the hail hitting the roof so everyone in our business office went out to see what was going on!  That's when we noticed it was hailing and then not too much longer it was snowing!  Yes...SNOWING in Fairfield!  It has not snowed here since 1989 and even back then the snow didn't stick on the ground like it did today!

I quickly walked back to my desk to grab my phone so I could take pictures and I'm glad I did!  Who knows when it will snow here again!

This all happened right before I got off from work and as I was getting ready to walk out the door one of the ladies in the office came back in to tell me that I should get one of the guy's the scrape the snow off of my windshield because she had a hard time getting it off from hers!  I thought that was really sweet of her to come back in to tell me that!  We found someone that was willing to help a pregnant girl and he was so nice to scrape the snow off of my windshield!  He even pulled my car up to the front door so I wouldn't go slipping and sliding out in the parking lot!  Check out how much snow accumulated on my car!

I couldn't believe it!  And check out the snow on the road!

I still can't believe that it snowed here in Fairfield!!
