[Pregnancy] 38 Week Check-up

Just 1 more week to go till we meet our little princess!!  That's right!!  Today I had my last prenatal check-up with my Dr.  I weighed in and blood pressure was checked and everything looks great!  Although I think that I'm huge I'm actually right on track with my weight gain!  Thank goodness!  But I can tell that I'm starting to have that pregnancy puffy look that every pregnant woman get when you're this far along.  But with just one week left I can't really complain.   The good thing is that you can still see a little bit of my collar bone (for those of you who know me very well knows that I'm obsessed with collar bones) so I'm really excited about that!!

Anyway...enough about that!  I got to see Baby Z one last time on the ultrasound machine and she's definitely in the ready position.  Head down!  Dr. also says that she's still measuring about average so she thinks she'll be about 7 pounds.  Guess we'll just have to wait and see!  Her heart rate is great...about 150!  She also said that I still have lots of fluid so that's a really great thing!

My Dr. also checked out my gestational diabetes booklet where I've been keeping track of my sugar levels and she said that they look great!  Believe it or not, but since I've been home my levels have dropped A LOT!  Either Baby Z moved or the stress at work is what was making my levels read high.  Aaron and I almost think that I don't even have gestational diabetes.  But it's better to be cautious and continue to eat the way I have been eating!

I've been feeling more tired these days!  Carrying around this baby is definitely tiring!  Since I'm on maternity leave I'm trying to get as much rest as I can!  I've even started taking a nap with Davin when he takes his afternoon naps!  Monday, I took a 30 min nap.  Tuesday, I took a 45 min nap.  And today, I took a 2 hour nap!  =)  Gotta enjoy it while I can because soon enough I won't even know what sleep is!

Anyway...here's my latest baby bump picture!
